Took a break to pay homage to the greatest ninja ever.
I've never tried to layout for a comic before. But I didn't want to get caught up on trying to figure it out right now. Just putting down panels, I can move stuff around later. I want to see if I can actually tell the story visually in 12 pages.
I don't really know what I'm doing... Figured I'd just start putting stuff down and see where it goes. I figure there will be tons and tons of revisions but if I don't build up some momentum, I know I'll never get anywhere. So here it is, opening shot. There are terms for this stuff, but I'll be damned if I know them. Page1 is already inconsistent with page 2. Oh well. Ha ha.
I need to credit some folks. This was a 2-page spread for GFW Magazine for the game Demigod from Gas Powered Games. I had about 6 days to put this and the cover together using some in-game assets and some Zbrush assetts. I did the concepts for the composition, lighting, rendering, hair effects and paint-over.Character Concepts: Nate Simpson and Steve Snoey3D Models: Matt Dudley and Jonathan CooperFX: Brandon Young
